He died on 28 Apr 1923 at Laurenceton, Notre Dame Bay, NFD, CAN, at age 84; From 'The Methodist Monthly Greeting', November 1923: Cram - Mr. George Cram passed peacefully away at Lawrenceton on April the 28th, 1923, aged 85 years. He only lived 4 months and a half after dear mother died. They were not parted long in this world but I know they are gone to be with Jesus which is far better. He was hard of hearing for 15 years but before he died the Lord gave him his second hearing. Many an hour we sat by his bedside and sang to him.He could not speak for three days before he died. His favourite hymn was - Should the death angel knock at your chamber, In the still watch of to-night, Say will your spirit pass into darkness, Or to the Land of Delight. He is mourned by two sons, four daughters, 14 grand children. Thefuneral service was conducted by Rev. W. Thistle.
